The event focused on the latest enhancements and new capabilities for Salesforce Data Cloud and the Einstein platform, which are designed to help marketers and merchants create personalized, intelligent, and connected experiences for their customers across every touchpoint. Here are some key event highlights:

  • AI Copilot: This new feature allows marketers and merchants to interact with Salesforce data and insights in a conversational way across all clouds — including Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Service Cloud, and Sales Cloud. Salesforce’s vision is to integrate marketing and commerce in a way that other CMS or marketing automation platforms cannot, enabling true Customer 360 experiences.
  • Einstein Personalization: Salesforce introduced new capabilities to help marketers and merchants deliver personalized and relevant content, offers, and recommendations to customers based on behaviors, preferences, and intents. This offering utilizes machine learning and data science to analyze customer data and optimize customer journeys across email, web, mobile, social, and advertising.
  • Data Cloud for Commerce: This new product enables merchants to access and activate data from multiple sources, such as online and offline transactions, customer behavior, preferences, and loyalty programs. Data Cloud for Commerce helps merchants create unified customer profiles, segment and target audiences, and optimize marketing and commerce campaigns across channels and devices.
  • Zero Copy Partner Network: Salesforce unveiled this new initiative which allows partners to access and share data from Salesforce Data Cloud without copying or moving the data. Zero copy integration makes it possible to access data that is sitting in multiple databases at the same time without having to move, copy, or reformat anything – which saves on time and ensures data integrity. In addition to making access faster and easier, it reduces the expense and risk of errors incurred when data must be moved or changed. The Zero Copy Partner Network enables partners to collaborate and co-create solutions that leverage Salesforce data and insights, while ensuring data security, privacy, and compliance. Persistent is a longtime trusted partner in this network, as we have deep expertise and experience in working with Salesforce data and solutions.

These highlights and others showcased at Connections 2024 demonstrate Salesforce’s commitment to empowering marketers and merchants with data-driven and intelligent solutions.
