Hardcastle Restaurants Pvt. Ltd. (HRPL), the company that owns McDonald’s restaurants in West and South India, has been a franchisee in the region since 1996, serving over 200 million customers annually.
The Challenge
HRPL encountered challenges locating stores and defining delivery zones using third-party vendor services. To overcome these obstacles and avoid delayed deliveries, they aimed to implement a geofence-based solution for identifying and mapping delivery zones on Google Maps. A recent major issue was resolved by deploying the complete application with a new maps project, minimizing downtime and ensuring a smooth transition for HRPL.
