The client, a leading broker-dealer and API shop for trading platforms in the US, provides financial brokerage services to customers worldwide.
The Challenge
The client wanted to define a technology strategy to create, modernize and upgrade the Brokerage API platform. A scattered team of technical engineers across domains and technologies resulted in rework and duplication, significantly increasing operational costs due to geographically spread-out presence and the challenges with the 24*6 support model.
The Solution
The client chose Persistent for our strong demonstrated capabilities in the Fintech industry. We defined and implemented a technology strategy by leveraging the lift and shift approach. The aim was to achieve a faster time to market for increasing global presence. The work with the client was around three pillars – client centricity, velocity and innovation. Accordingly, we implemented a POD structure to provide shared services around QA, DevOps and TechOps.
The Outcome
Implementing the multi-tenancy platform ensured region independence for partner onboarding across different geos. It improved platform scalability and maintainability with optimized resource utilization. This led to a 90% reduction in infrastructure readiness cycle time and 70% time optimization for regression test execution. Ultimately, the client has optimized the operational cost by 50%.
