Positiv Television Group is a large media group which has News and Entertainment channels (Hamar TV, Focus TV, NE TV, NE BANGLA, NE HI FI, HY TV) and one radio station OOOLALA in the Northeast region of India. The company has seven offices across India. Positiv Television Private Limited was established in the year of 2004 and since then it has been India’s leading news channel.
The channels cater to the news and information needs of Hindi, English, Bengali, Urdu, Bhojpuri, and all the regional Purbia and Northeastern language audiences. Film and Television Production House PTPL Mayurath Films has so far produced more than 400 telefilms, Video albums and tele serials in the popularly used Northeast regional languages.
A company like Positiv Television, paving its way to rapid growth and success was facing internal issues with their information systems management. These challenges were fast becoming critical and were proving to be a roadblock to the company’s vision, especially the mail system.
The company was using freeware mail system that was proving to be inadequate for collaboration across locations. We migrated over 1000 employees to Google Apps for Work for the group. Not only did we show product value to the company but also smoothly transitioned all its employees to Google Apps. The employees of the Positiv group were given onsite and remote user trainings. We continue to provide support services to Positiv Television as and when required.
