What is Digital Commerce?

The process of purchasing items online without the involvement of a human is known as digital commerce. The distinction is subtle, but if eCommerce were fully automated, from marketing and sales to product delivery, it would be considered digital commerce. While complete automation may be a long way off, some of the world’s largest retail conglomerates are already implementing this system.

Digital commerce considers all aspects of purchasing decisions. These elements are important; without them, the digital commerce experience would be woefully inadequate.

Typically, digital strategists map the entire consumer journey, whether product or service, determining how important to assign to each purchase milestone and creating consumer journeys that provide a consistent experience.
